COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Just add:

  • 4 Tbl butter
  • 8 oz sirloin steak strips
  • 8 oz sliced mushrooms
  • ½ cup dry white wine or beef broth
  • ½ cup sour cream

Instructions:

  1. Boil pasta in 4-6 quarts of water for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Strain the pasta and set it aside.
  2. Sauté steak in 2 Tbl butter over medium heat to desired level of doneness. Set steak aside.
  3. Sauté mushrooms in 2 Tbl butter for 7 minutes, then drain off any extra liquid.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together seasoning packet, 11/2 cups water, and wine or broth. Add mixture to mushrooms and cook 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Stir in sour cream, steak, and pasta and cook until heated through.
